We are located on the Oregon coast between Astoria and Seaside, on a two acre homestead with gardens, orchards, sheep, and chickens.

Paper Making with Lâm Quàng September 10th 2-5pm $40

Learn basic paper making techniques and come home with 3-5 10x20 inch sheets.  Lâm shares his unique blend of Eastern and Western paper making.


Metal Gilding with Momoko Okada September 30th 10am-3:30pm $125

In this workshop, you will learn some simple traditional Japanese gilding technique; how to apply metal leaf. Metal leaf can be applied on variety of things, such as wooden frames, ceramic bowls, plastic ornaments, metal sculpture and so much more! Bring artwork or other items for metal leafing. No experience needed.

 Sheep + Fleece with JoAnn Snead October 7th 3-5pm $30

Come learn about sheep breeds and types of wool with local spinner and wool enthusiast Jo Ann Snead. She is an instructor at the Astoria Fiber Arts Academy where she teaches spinning, weaving, and knitting. She has been making things from fabric, fleece, and fiber for over 40 years. 
Jo Ann Snead is a self taught spinner/weaver/dyer who has been practicing these arts since 2000. Previous to this era she was a professional quilter and seamstress. She has taught children and adults handcrafting, literacy skills and classroom Science. She believes creating useful items empowers us to bring beauty into our lives and peace into our hearts.


Indigo Movie Night with Iris Sullivan Daire October 21st 4-6pm $30

This will be one part movie night (popcorn included!) and one part mini indigo dye class. The documentary will take us into the world of indigo.
